I am in love with google docs and power points. I can create documents online without worrying about accidentally deleting them.  I also dont have to upload my documents to my email because its already saved and I can edit it online. It also has a share option. I have done so many projects online with my partners at the same time.

First Day of Placement

I had my first placement on Thursday at Prince of Wales school. All I can say what a beautiful school. I have never seen such a well-equipped school and great staff. They have a a full gym, grade pods (never heard of it), awesome staff rooms, and a SmartBoard and Frontrow system in every class. I am definitely excited to be placed at this school.

My associate teacher is Ms. Elliott. She is a first grade teacher and has been an associate teacher for Brock students for many years. Sadly, she wasn't there for my first two days, but the supply teacher was great. She was a recent graduate from Brock and gave me a lot of advice. Some of things she taught me was what is a DRA and why it used, lessons on classroom management, and subject lessons. She also introduced me to the staff. I am excited to keep learning new things from all the teachers at the school.

FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL!!

Whoa what a week!! I started my program and met my awesome instructors and teacher candidates. I'm still a bit nervous and overwhelmed, but I know with time I'll be okay.
